Credit Card Authorizations, Safety and Security of Personal Information.

 

The following items are a part of our Agreement and Liability Policy 2019

The following items are prohibited from Quality Chauffeur Service LLC vehicles: Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, smoking, firearms and explosives.

  • In case of any misconduct by you or a member of your party, the chauffeur is authorized to terminate this agreement without any refunds.
  • Quality Chauffeur Service LLC is not responsible for delays or inconveniences due to unknown or unforeseen mechanical failures or situations deemed as "Acts of God."
  • Quality Chauffeur Service LLC assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged baggage, personal belongings or any items left in the vehicle.
  • Quality Chauffeur Service LLC does not provide child safety seats. Parents and guardians of children traveling in our vehicles are responsible for providing and installing child safety seats in accordance with State and Federal laws.
  • Any unusual spill soiling or damage to the vehicle caused by the passenger or their party will result in a $250 clean-up fee being charged directly to the credit card on file for the trip. There are charges for cleaning vomit, spilled drinks, damage to interior beyond normal wear and tear.
  • Client agrees that the passenger capacity or luggage capacity of the vehicle provided shall not be exceeded
  • Quality Chauffeur Service LLC shall not be liable for any delays, service interruptions, damages caused by mother nature, strikes, riots, Authorities of laws, public enemies, inclement weather, hazardous road conditions , accidents and breakdowns.
  • Client is responsible for any damages committed to our vehicles, by any member of your party during service, either willfully or accidentally. Any actions that cause damage to a our vehicle(s), include loss or theft of property, can result in an extra charge. Client will be responsible for full payment of any overtime charges beyond the original agreement.
  • Drug use is not tolerated under any circumstances. The chauffeur is authorized to terminate this agreement if there is drug use in the vehicle. No refunds will be given.
  • Quality Chauffeur Service LLC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT ANY TIME WITHOUT GIVING PRIOR NOTICE.

We take your safety very seriously. We transport many passengers for whom safety is a major concern, including solo female business travelers, Senior citizens and occasionally unaccompanied minors. As an extra security precaution, we can arrange for a password to be exchanged between the passenger and the chauffeur to avoid anyone trying to impersonate or misrepresent affiliation to Quality Chauffeur Service LLC & Jay's Sedan Service. Do not accept ground transportation offers from anyone illegally soliciting fares curbside or inside the terminal. Travelers Aid Desk provides information and directions and referral services to local resources at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Washington Dulles International Airport, and Union Station. Desks are open throughout the year except on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day. Prearrange Interstate city-to-city trips with Jay's sedan service for worry free business and leisure travel.

 

WAIT TIME, STOPS,CANCELLATION, AND NO SHOW POLICY:

All Trip Cancellations, Time changes to reservations must be called in directly by calling us at 1-877-219-9285 703-541-9990
Trips are not considered confirmed unless you received a formal detailed trip confirmation via email. Rate Quotes are not confirmed reservations.
Trip rates are subject to change depending on route taken, actual door to door miles

Sedans and SUV's Fifteen minutes grace period is given for all non airport pickup locations, after that applicable waiting time will be charged in fifteen minutes increments.

Non-Airport rides include pick-up at AMTRAK stations (Union Station, Penn Station or AMTRAK BWI). We do not monitor train schedules, therefore, wait time will be charged as incurred for any passenger arriving by train that is delayed by more than 15 minutes.

Passenger requested stops en route during point-to-point reservation will be charged $20.00 to $30.00 per stop/s for maximum of 10 minutes each. Interstate long distance trips stop/stops on highway rest areas "NO CHARGE"

***All local DC and Northern Virginia area reservations for local service must be cancelled 3 hours prior to scheduled pickup time. ASAP or Live calls where client requests a chauffeur be dispatched right away for long distance travel are non-refundable and total trip cost minus and toll charges will be billed to the credit card.

For point to point transfer and hourly service a fee equal to the fare, gratuity and wait time will be charged when the client does not show at the pre-arranged pickup location. If for any reason you are having trouble finding your chauffeur please call our toll free number 1-877-219-9285 and our dispatcher will help you locate the driver. If client leaves without informing the company without any communication it will be considered a No Show (FULL CHARGE).

Passenger is responsible for any tolls both ways on all interstate trips from DC to NJ, NY, DE, PA and on local DC area Non-HOV express lanes I-66, I-495, I-95, Dulles Greenway, toll road. (Please note that toll rates on Northern Virginia area EXPRESS LANES OR NON-HOV PAID USE LANES can change depending on demand and can be as much as $40.)

Flights can be diverted for many reasons. Bad weather, mechanical problems, strikes, armed conflict and natural disasters can cause a flight diversion. Airline pilots may also divert flights because of disruptive passenger behavior, passenger or crew health issues, or legal issues that involve passengers.

When your flight is diverted to another airport , you will face one of two situations. Either your flight will resume when conditions are favorable or your flight will end at that airport and your airline will arrange for you to reach your destination by other means. If your driver is waiting at Reagan National Airport and your flight is diverted to IAD, RIC, BWI it will be your call to inform us if you want the chauffeur to wait at Reagan National (wait time charges apply) Make it a late cancel billable or make it a No-Show (full charge) and send you another driver at your current airport. (subject to availability)

 

HOURLY SERVICES:

  • All Sedan reservations are billed in thirty minutes increments with three hours minimum in DC Metropolitan area. Hourly minimums for all vehicles CAN NOT be split up.

Time-based rides are subject to a fixed positioning charge that represents the cost incurred for the vehicle and chauffeur to travel to your pick up location and to return from your drop-off point .All positioning charges are fixed according to vehicle type. We are based out of Alexandria, Virginia if your pickup location is located 40 or more miles away Garage to Garage billing charges apply from the time we leave our base facility and until we return.

 

RESERVATIONS AND CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION:

By placing an authorization hold for credit or debit card transaction, We can protect you and our business from fraud or chargebacks. We may request copy of your credit card and State issued ID or Passport, This verification is important for your security and ours ! All reservations require a valid credit card and a deposit or for higher amounts full trip charges may be authorized. We do not Share, Sell or Rent any personal information of our clients or store your credit card details.

If the chauffeur is staying overnight with a group/client and continuing service the following day or a trip that is 300 or more miles away from our base and it is not safe to drive back the same day or not as that will be over 600 miles , it is usual and customary for the client to book and pay for the chauffeur’s room with the rest of the group. However, if the drop off point is so far away that your chauffeur can’t head back to the home base within legal driving hours, on the same day client has to pay for a room. we have to adhere to DOT hours guidelines for how long our chauffeurs can be on the road to ensure safety.

Your chauffeur is not on vacation so you don’t have to put him up at The Ritz-Carlton or The Four Seasons if that’s where your group is staying. Our Chauffeurs only need safe and fairy priced hotels like Spring Hill Suites Marriott, Courtyard, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Hyatt Place which offer great rates, and are located in nearly every city. We will estimate the total expenses of the hotel, meals and any extra charges the chauffeur might need for overnight hotel parking fees and meals and bill directly to your account.

All software, design, textual, graphical and other content created by or for QUALITY CHAUFFEUR SERVICE LLC, compromised and appearing on this Website and the selection & layout of this Website, are owned or licensed by QUALITY CHAUFFEUR SERVICE LLC and are protected by USA intellectual property laws. We own the copyright in the Website as a collective work and/or compilation, and in the selection, coordination, arrangement and enhancement of such content. Republication or citation of any content generated by the Website without our written consent is expressly prohibited.

 

City to City, Long Distance and Hourly Hire Reservations:

We recommend that our clients reserve a car ahead of time for longer distance travel city to city like from DC to NYC,NJ,PA and very early AM pickups (at no additional charge) to be guaranteed a car at desired time of pick up. We can provide you with a car at short notice too

  • Interstate trips: the rental clock will begin and end when the vehicle leaves/returns to the garage.
  • One-way transfer service may not be available on weekends, holidays and during special events, Hourly wait and return only reservations may apply.
  • Prices may vary by date and vehicle availability. (For seasonal events such as Graduations, Christmas Holiday season travel, Thanksgiving, New Year's and during Inclement Weather snow ice be sure to reserve early.
  • Live calls ASAP Airport & Non- Airport pickup requests are non-refundable.

 

Credit Card Transactions:

We take an authorization for the full amount on the card to guarantee funds availability 24 hours prior to the scheduled ride, it may show as a "Pending" or "posted" if you check your credit card account statement online. The authorization amount may be higher than the expected charges in the event you decide to make additional stops, toll fees or change your destination . We will then finalize the charges on your card after the trip has been completed. All receipts are sent by email.

 

Collection Fees:

You agree to pay all legal counseling fees, litigation fees, legal fees, costs, accounting fees, expenses and disbursements for all actions taken prior to, during and subsequent to the initiation of legal proceedings to collect payments due in cases of non-payment, damage to vehicle

 

Gratuity, Airport Fees, Parking and Tolls

A Tip (gratuity) is added to every trip, there is no need to tip anything additional to the chauffeurs unless you would like to.All parking fees, tolls($$) and other airport regulatory fees are additional (usually $8.00-$16.00 depending on time).These fees go directly to the MWAA or Port Authority NY, NJ airports and parking lots.
